Imitation of timber

Imitation timber (log cabin siding) is a profiled board designed to replicate the look of a solid log wall. Unlike Euro-batten, it has a thicker profile (16–28mm) and greater width (up to 185mm). The tongue-and-groove joint allows for a hidden, gap-free installation, while the back-side grooves provide ventilation. It's a practical cladding material for anyone who values a natural finish.

At our factory in Gryazovets, Vologda region, we manufacture imitation timber from softwood species for builders and contractors across Russia and abroad. We work directly, with no intermediaries.

Kiln Drying: The Key to a Quality Installation

For facades, we only offer kiln-dried imitation timber. After kiln drying, moisture content doesn't exceed 14%. This guarantees dimensional stability — the cladding won't warp, and the tongue fits tightly into the groove.

Euro-batten or Imitation Timber: Which One to Choose?

At Belka35, we manufacture both materials.

• Euro-batten (12–16mm) — for lining interior walls
• Imitation timber (16–28mm, up to 185mm) — for facades and interiors where volume and log-wall texture are needed

Both are kiln-dried and feature a tongue-and-groove joint.

Grades and Sizes

Standard sizes:

• 16×140mm — for interior wood cladding
• 20×140mm — a versatile option for facades
• 21–28×185mm — reinforced panels for a solid log-wall look

Length: 2–6 meters, in 30cm increments.

Grade AB: sound knots, natural color. For finish-grade cladding.

Grade C: knots and wane are allowed. For outbuildings and utility structures.
